Philip Lee’s Chemotherapy Update, Korea

I received the sixth course of chemotherapy last Monday (7/9/12). I received an anticancer drug infusion last Monday, and then two weeks of treatment with an oral anti-cancer drug will be continued.  After one week of break, I will receive the seventh course of chemotherapy.

X-ray studies including CT scan and detail blood tests will be done after the sixth course of treatment just as those studies were done after the third course of chemotherapy (7/23/12). The previous tests were all clean. I pray that the detailed tests turn out to be all normal.

At first I felt burdened about eight courses of chemotherapy because of the side effects of anti-cancer treatment. However, I already completed six courses of chemotherapy by God's grace and I am thankful that the side effects from the chemotherapy were much less and minimal.

I thank God that I could depend on Matthew 8:18 "He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases" and 1 Peter 2:24 "He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross."

I praise and thank God that He had mercy on me because of prayers for our precious missionaries all around the world.
