On May 19^th 2012, Bible memorization contest was held among children in Chicago CBF.  There were five groups; BBF (Lord’s Prayer, monthly key verses), 1-2 grade (Psalm 119:1-16), 3-4 grade (Exodus 20:1-17 The Ten Commandments), 5-6 grade, 7-8 grade (Hebrews 11:1-29 & Apostles Creed).

They worked so hard. Usually upper grade had not many participants. But this time was different with many participants. Moreover many first place ties after second time tests.

We had to order four more trophies and three more in BBF.

The 1^st places are:
1-2 gr. Danielle Hull, Daniel Min (2^nd Joshua Jung, 3^rd Esther Kim, 4^th Judah Stasinos)
3-4 gr. Annemarie Ahn, Grace Min, Annie Lee (2^nd Grace Koh, 3^rd William Megardician, 4^th Paul Roth)
5-6 gr. Daniel King, Sally Kim (2^nd Joshua Lee, 3^rd John Kim, 4^th Abraham Ahn)
7-8 gr. David Wolff, (2^nd John Lee, 3^rd Rebekah Rayas, 4^th Mariza Mendoza)

BBF has five excellent ones who got little trophies. They are Samuel Shin, Andrew Albright, Hannah Albright, Nehemiah Kim and Matthew Camarena.

First places are all perfect score. Praise God for children participated wholeheartedly. Thank God for teachers. Thank you for all parents who supported children. May God grow our children spiritual leaders and prayer servants and make North America a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.
