Paris Easter Conference Report
The conference title was “Come, the Holy Spirit of the Living God.”
In the first evening, M. Isaac Lee delivered a message on the Lord’s Prayer from Luke 11. He delivered a message that was full of grace, though he had a bad cold. For the morning devotion on the second day, the message was delivered by Angelo. He longed for the coming of the Holy Spirit through his message, but he was discouraged because he could not experience any personal change after delivering his message on Acts 2. However, he received much grace from Luke 24 about two despaired disciples who studied the Bible with the Risen Jesus on the way to Emmaus.
On the second day, Eric delivered the main message from Luke 23. This time he wrote his own message. His message was powerful and helped him to gain self- confidence and make a decision to overcome his sense of failure and take care of God’s flock faithfully.
In the evening, David Choi (2nd gen) delivered a message on God’s calling from Isaiah 6. He was supposed to deliver the main message, but when he accepted this humbleness training as God’s will, his message was graceful and his face was full of grace.
On the third day, Leva (PhD student) served the morning devotion message from Acts 1. He confessed his worldly desires and accepted Jesus’ word to remain in Jerusalem and not to go to the world.
The final main message was delivered by Dr. Mark Choi on Luke 24. M. Mark Choi humbled himself to prepare the message with other messengers.
There was a great work of God among many new students. William accepted and believed in God for the first time. The life testimonies of four sisters – Clotild, Sarah, Pierin, and Monic – were heart-moving.
The music and drama were very graceful. Our guests, Paul Lee from Switzerland, the Peace family from Podil, and Natalia from Kiev, gave us encouragement and world mission vision.
I deeply thank God that the Holy Spirit came and opened our hearts through our Easter conference. We earnestly pray that all the attendees may grow in faith and become disciples of Jesus as the fruits of this conference. We are praying for our summer Bible conference (7/27-29).
Jesus is the answer to all our spiritual questions!
