5 Loaves and 2 Fish Orchestra for supporting PUST, New Jersey
Thank God for your prayer for the 5 loaves and 2 fish orchestra and support of PUST (Pyong Yang University of Science and Technology). It was held on Feb 18, 2012 at Rutgers Music Center. The concert was organized by Rutgers Student Organization (Rutgers University Royal Priesthood) and funded by Rutgers University for the basic expenses.
God blessed our five loaves and two fish orchestra abundantly by having more than 500 people in the Rutgers Music Center. There were 58 orchestra members (including our CBF orchestra), 42 chorus members who sang “Bandal” and “You raised me up”, and 2 conductors - Joseph Lee Jr. and Joshua Lim (Korea). All together 102 members in orchestra and chorus. In addition, more than 400 people from Rutgers, local high schools and friends from Education Center gathered together to support our concert.
It was very joyful and meaningful, for there was hope of God for world mission through music. By having the benefit concert, we were able to raise approximately 4,000 dollars in donation to support PUST. Through this concert, God enabled us to see God’s world mission vision to support PUST ministry through having the next 5 years 5 loaves and 2 fish orchestra with 70 orchestra/70 chorus members and 700 audiences in Rutgers Music Center.
Especially, through this music concert, the hearts of our second generations may burn with world mission vision and go out to North Korea and the Muslim world with their five loaves and two fish. May God accept our fives loaves and two fish benefit orchestra as our prayer to open the door of North Korea for the freedom of believing in Jesus and unification of Korea in peace.
