Korea UBF Daily Bread Managers and Staff Annual Conf. Report
On Feb. 4, 2012 Korea UBF held an annual conference of daily bread managers and staff at the Korea UBF headquarters in Seoul, Korea. There were 80 attendees who gathered together from all the regions of Korea, every Korean UBF chapter. We divided into seven groups and studied the Bible with the theme "Why should we know the Holy Scriptures" based on 2 Timothy 3:13-16.
After we had lunch, the main lecture was given by Sh. David Kim (Korea UBF director) with power and grace. Through this we could learn about the clear reason we must know the Holy Scriptures:: 1. Only the Holy Scriptures are able to make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus; 2. All the Scriptures is God-breathed; and 3. It is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that we may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. Through this all the attendees realized the core of the Bible, the authority of the Bible, and the benefits of the Bible. Because of this we all made a resolution to love God faithfully through receiving daily bread each day.
After the testimony, Sh. Jaeeun Lee (who is a full time manager of Korea UBF daily bread) described practical guidelines about the management of daily bread, And there was an awards ceremony for those who received daily bread without missing for 365 days in 2011. There were 25 prizes awarded from 11 chapters such as Kyoungheemoon, Hanyang, Namsan, Kwangju, Jongro2, Kwanak3, Baebong, Kyoungsung,Jongro7, Yonhee and Sejong.
We pray that God may bless each chapter's brothers and sisters to love the word of God with all their hearts through receiving daily bread faithfully and to bear much fruit in 2012.
