Update of Dr. James Suh's health, Korea
The first round of chemotherapy given to Dr. James Suh finished last Saturday, Feb11. By God's grace during the chemotherapy his kidney function remained very normal and there were no particular problem or side affects to his body such as tumor lysis syndrome, etc. We praise and thank God for answering the earnest prayers for him from all the servants of God throughout the world. We also thank all the servants of God throughout the world for their labor of love and prayer for him.
His second round of chemotherapy will resume the last week of February. He will take rest in between his treatments. The second chemotherapy treatment will be the most difficult for him because usually the second chemotherapy treatment affects the bone marrow. At the same time the risk of infection is higher for him because his white cell count as well as his immune function will be down. Now he is remaining in the hospital for a week in order to be under close observation especially watching his bone marrow function and signs of infection. He needs prayer support so that his bone marrow function may be restored soon and that there may be no infection as well. In order to bear the treatment well he need to restore his appetite, eating well and becoming strengthened to regain his appetite.
Prayer topics:
1. May God help him to restore his bone marrow soon and protect him from infection
2. Strengthen his body by eating well for the second round of chemotherapy
3. May the swelling of his body be reduced and back to normal.
4. May God help Dr. James to bear all the chemotherapy with victorious faith and a joyful heart and be fully recovered for the glory of God.
