Korean Great Vision Orchestra Concert Report
At 4 p.m., on Jan. 28, 2012 the Korean UBF second gen orchestra team (Great Vision Orchestra) held it's winter music concert at Jongro UBF center, Seoul, Korea. Most of the second gens who are living in the region of Seoul, gather together every other Saturday to practice throughout 2011 and they had a music camp from Jan. 26-28, 2012.
We thank God for the second gens who are growing through these music activities, growing in emotional intelligence as well as leaders of the future. Because of the fierce competition for college admission, their lives and hearts were vulnerable to drying up. As a teenager it is not easy for them to deny themselves the enjoyment of weekend free time, but most of them were faithful to practicing music every other Saturday. They confessed that they enjoyed it and were satisfied by it after finishing the concert.
It also has been an opportunity for them to have good fellowship with each other and to make a spiritual community among second gens. Most of all, we thank God that through this music event we can draw attention to our second gens and pray for them. This year we had the concert in the Jongro UBF center building, not using a public concert hall, in order to save the expense (we have the concert twice, once in the winter and once in the summer). The UBF Jongro center hall was great, exceeding our expectations. Please continue to pray for Korean second gens and the Orchestra team. Thank you for your prayer support.
