Paraguay UBF Report and Prayer Topics
It has been 24 years since Paraguay UBF was pioneered. Once there was a great work of the Holy Spirit in Paraguay. There were 7 missionary families and one Paraguayan shepherdess who established a family of faith and was sent to Brazil. But after the passing away of M. John Lee, my family is left alone.
Our Paraguayan center looks like a deserted house without any residents. It looks like a place abandoned by God without hope. But I cannot but praise God who loved us and has accompanied us even in the long dark circumstances. I had co-worked with M. John & Maria Lee’s family for many years. Through prayers I could depend on God moment by moment and experience God’s help and blessing to establish my self-supporting missionary life.
God is watching over my family with his love. First of all, he helped us to restore Sunday worship service. Also, He is nourishing my family with the word of God. We were weak and lifeless like a branch from the dry ground, but God is giving us new life, strength, and faith. He is helping us to set our minds and hearts on the grace of our Lord Jesus and his word in order to raise us as soldiers of faith. I believe that by the help of God, 1:1 ministry will begin newly and the gospel of the kingdom of God will be preached to Paraguay.
I lived an easy-going life in unbelief like a dead man, but by God’s mercy he restored me to be his servant. I pray that God may bless me to live a life that reveals the power of the gospel.
