Uruguay Christmas Worship Service, South America
Luke 2:10,11 “But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
We had a joyful and gracious Christmas Worship Service with good news of great joy, Jesus’ coming. Baby Jesus came to be our Savior and Lord of all. This news brought us together with worship and praise. This news of Jesus’ birth in this earth in a manger brought our students. In total 21 participated in this joyful service. Brother Marcos Seba (Computer 4) took stewardship and shared a graceful poem for baby Jesus. He has been faithful in receiving messenger training and delivery once per month. Sister Erika (Pharmacy 3) who is fruit of Msn Goh Eun came back from absence and volunteered in preparing duo drama describing the conception of Jesus by the Holy Spirit and joy of this great work of God.” Sister Shirley (Law 4) shared her Bible testimony testifying Jesus’ lordship. Five years ago God had called her with same message and she shared how much she suffered when she kept distance from God. She came back to God with repentance. Brother Francisco (Medical School 1) participated in the choir praising the Lord with His voice and heart. He did not stop smiling and laughing during the worship Service and the post worship Service program.
In this chaotic and problematic world, the birth of Jesus became good news of greatest joy for each one of us. This message made us think about the grace of Immanuel God who is with us. Our Lord, Messiah saved us from the power of sin and death and Satan to give us eternal life.
