Sri-Lanka Christmas Worship Service 2011

In the evening of December 18, we had a Christmas worship service. It was filled with joy because of Jesus who is our horn of salvation. We worshiped the baby Jesus with abundant programs, such as a dance, carol medley, praise poem, music, and karate performance.

Sang-Hyung Kim decorated the place and Oksuk-Lee served through playing the piano and special songs. Also Doyeol Choi, who visited Sri-Lanka shortly from India, played the flute, clarinet, and saxophone excellently. Luke and Sarah Jun, who joined our ministry last year, served this worship service sacrificially. Barnabas Baek delivered the message with the title, “The Horn of Salvation.” God sent 80 people. Our church was too small to host all of them, so we rented a bigger place to have the worship service. After the service, we had fellowship over food and collected a relief offering to support children in local churches on Christmas Eve.

We thank God who sent Jesus as the horn of salvation in this country.   Merry Christmas!
