We had our Yon Hee center Christmas worship service at the Yonsei University School of Engineering Auditorium at 2:30 p.m. on December 18. About 300 people--students, co-workers, and family, and friends attended. The main title was, "Glory to God and Peace to Men". We prepared to worship the baby Jesus with two weeks of prayer meetings at 8 p.m. and singing practice for "Gloria" and "Hallelujah Chorus". Lay shepherds, shepherdesses, students, and co-workers joined together to attend prayer meetings and chorus rehearsals.

Shepherd David Kim delivered the message of Luke 2:1-14 full of power and grace. In this cruel world of intense competition people are seeking for joy but can not find true joy. But there is good news of great joy in the gospel for all people, no matter how weak we are or what sufferings or trials we are facing. Even though today people have splendid qualifications many are unhappy and leading themselves down the path of destruction. The root cause of people falling into real misery and unhappiness is only sin. But Jesus, our Lord saves us from sin, when he lowered himself to come to this world. Those who receive the baby Jesus receive forgiveness of sins and are free from the devil and are blessed with true joy and peace. The birth of our Savior and Lord Jesus is glory to God and peace to men.

Missionary Abraham Lee directed the choir as a host of angels burst forth "Gloria" and "Hallelujah Chorus". The second part included an orchestra performance and a Christmas pageant. Our hearts were moved when the hardened tax collector and soldier received Jesus and were changed to be a shepherd and missionary.
