Bonn and Mainz UBF Christmas Worship Service, Germany
On December 18, Bonn and Mainz UBF held the Christmas worship service at the Bonn Community Center.
Sh. Peter Schweitzer delievered the message based on Luke 2 and John 3:16. We praised and gave glory to our Savior Jesus who came to this world in a humble manger to save us from our sins and to give us eternal life. As we worshipped the baby Jesus through orchestra, choir, dance, ballet, a Christmas poem, and a Christmas play, our hearts were filled with joy and peace.
Twenty years ago, a few people gathered for a prayer meeting at the Nikolai Church in Leipzig. This prayer meeting was as meager as a baby born in a manger. However, this prayer meeting grew steadily until it broke the walls of communism and became a driving force for the reunification of Germany. 1:1 Bible studies in UBF ministries may seem insignificant at the moment, but it will grow ceaselessly and turn Germany into a shepherd nation and become a driving force for the spiritual revival of Europe.
In the midst of the ongoing preparations for the European Directors' Conference and Mission-Net Congress 2011/12, second generation missionaries, national leaders, and mission co-workers gave their hearts to inviting Bible students and friends and a total of 180 people attended the service. Through this service, we saw God's vision for the Gospel ministry and the disciple-making ministry for the New Year.
May God use UBF manger ministries as a driving force for the spiritual revival of Europe. Thank you for your prayer support. Attached are some pictures from our worship service.
In Christ,
Dr. Peter Chang
