Balkan update and urgent prayer request by M. Paul of Greece

Thank you very much for your support and encouragement for the Greece ministry, including the Balkan ministries. We are praying that God may pioneer 167 Balkan campuses with the gospel through 50 one-to-one Bible studies per week.

We have one thanksgiving topic, not only of my family, but of the whole Greek ministry. By God’s grace, Lydia Jr. entered the Department of Nursing at the Technological Education Institute of Athens. We pray that God may use her as a source of blessing and an excellent Greek Bible teacher for young students. We pray that she will grow as a global leader for the world redemptive salvation work.

Also, we have one prayer topic for my mother-in-law who is a deaconess at a local church.  Yesterday, we found out that she is suffering with lung cancer. Doctors at the local hospital told us that she has about 6 months left to live. They suggested for her to move to a bigger hospital. She will be hospitalized at Seoul National University Hospital from September 8 because there is no room there right now.

M. Lydia L. is scheduled to visit Korea next week. She will comfort her mother and help her two brothers who are discouraged by their mother’s illness. We need prayer support from all of our co-workers. I pray that God will reveal his glory through this problem.

In Christ’s Love,

M. Paul H. L.
