Education City in Qatar is an initiative of Qatar Foundation (QF) for Education, Science and Community Development. Located on the outskirts of Doha, the capital of Qatar, Education City covers 14 square kilometers and houses educational facilities from school age to research level and branch campi of some of the world's leading universities such as Northwestern University, Texas A&M University, Weill Cornell Medical College, Georgetown University, Virginia Commonwealth University, Carnegie Mellon University, HEC Paris, and University College London. These universities are now looking for Ph. D level researchers worldwide.

Benefits: In Cornell’s case, students in Medical School are able to study at Cornell Medical School in the United State as exchange students. Also those who get a physician qualification in Qatar can be certified in the United State, Europe, Middle East, and Asia.

The government supports those who work at government for a certain time after graduation by providing living expenses such as cars, houses, children tuitions and airplane fees for a vacation which is given every four month. There are also opportunities to be faculty members.
