Namibia Campus Mission Report and Prayer Topics
Namibia Campus Mission Report by Abraham K.
The main direction for the Namibian ministry in 2010 was to teach the Bible more deeply to Namibian students and to raise them up as co-workers in the ministry. The year 2010 was a very difficult year for the Namibian ministry as we could not do much. However, we pray to God to renew our spiritual strength in order to serve students with more diligence and with a good shepherd’s heart. I am currently studying the book of Mark with M. Paul R.
1. UBF 50thAnniversary Celebration in South Korea
I thank God that I could attend the 50thUBF anniversary celebration in Seoul, South Korea. Through this conference, I was spiritually renewed and strengthened. I received much grace through God’s work over the past fifty years. I was especially encouraged by the work of the early UBF missionary pioneers who sacrificed their lives and went through hardships in order to spread the gospel to many parts of the world. Through this Bible study, I am praying to learn how to prepare my own Bible messages without dependence on Chicago messages, which I have been using for the past years. By preparing my own messages, it will also help me to understand the Bible more deeply, meditate on it, and have more practical applications whenever preparing messages.
