2nd Gen. Missionary Education Report from Yonhee UBF, KOREA
SECOND GEN MISSIONARY EDUCATION REPORT FROM YONHEE UBF KOREA
(Second gens Mary Lee, Hannah Rarick, Grace Wolff, Sarah Lomahan, all from Chicago UBF)
They arrived on June 29. They participated in the seminar at Chonro center about the 50-year history of UBF and visited Kwangju center, etc. They have great spiritual desire so they followed the spiritual training very faithfully:
- Studying Genesis through one to one Bible study and writing 6-page testimonies after each lecture. (Sarah has studied Genesis every day because she is going to leave for the Philippines on July 11. She will finish Genesis 12.) Others have studied three times a week so that they can finish Genesis 22, about Abraham.
- Attending worship services
- Attending the early morning prayer meeting and having daily bread and sharing it every day
- Participating in GBS led by shepherd David Kim
- Attending the Yonhee Summer Bible Conference and serving the dance program
They even have gone fishing voluntarily and studied Genesis with one sheep already. We pray that they may accept one word deeply through one to one Bible study and that they may accept Jesus through the SBC. Lydia Hong from Germany has served the second gens from Chicago. She makes breakfast and dinner for them and shares daily bread with them every day. She has gone fishing faithfully and began one to one Bible study with Chika (a girl.)
Rebecca and Deborah will attend the Yonhee SBC.
