UBF Gwangju Regional Laymen Seminar Report, Korea
On July 1, the UBF Gwangju Regional Laymen Seminar was held with the theme, "UBF Spirit, Ministry, and Vision," at the Gwangju center in the Chunam province in Korea. About 200 attended from Gwangju and Chunju UBF.
The new director of Korea UBF, David Kim, delivered the main message, titled "The Bible in a troubled world" based on 2 Timothy 3:16. He emphasized that in order to serve God all the more, we should all hold on to the Bible more firmly in this corrupt generation. He also said that we can be swayed by many other methods for revival, but having a Bible-oriented ministry is the best way for campus mission and world mission. One-to-one Bible study, testimony writing, Daily bread meditation, and disciple-making are the things our spiritual ancestors passed down to us.
The symposiums on UBF spirit, ministry, and vision greatly encouraged Gwangju and Chunju co-workers to devote themselves to the campus pioneering and disciple-making ministry.
We prayed earnestly for world mission, the upcoming summer conferences for all the UBF chapters, and David Kim's leadership and co-working.
