Nagasaki Easter Conf. News, Japan

Nagasaki UBF had a joint Easter Bible conference with Oita UBF co-workers.  M. Ray and his wife from Oita UBF drove for 3 hours with a student and many gifts in order to attend the conference. This missionary family has been suffering to serve the ministry in Oita. Ray graduated in Canada and could have lived a comfortable life there. However, he sacrificed himself to be a missionary to Japan. Due to economic difficulties, God blessed him to get a job in a software company. Now he is praying for God’s work in Oita University and Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University.

At the conference, two students who are faithful to studying the Bible attended and little Sarah brought two friends. They are all students from Nagasaki University. We are constantly praying for them to grow as spiritual men and women of God. Through this conference, we shared the good news of Jesus’ resurrection. During the conference, we all attended little Sarah’s music concert at the Nagasaki Art Gallery. After the conference, we also enjoyed the Minato Festival. Through all this, we could establish a deep relationship with the co-workers from Oita UBF.

Every year in April, co-workers in Kyushu have a meeting called, “Count the stars.” However, due to the earthquake and radioactivity calamity, we canceled the meeting. However, God blessed our Easter conference abundantly and granted us new strength through the messages of the resurrection. We are praying for the students to grow as disciples of Jesus through faithful Bible study and to be able to attend the summer Bible conference.

Thank you for your prayer support for Nagasaki ministry.

M. David
