There was a beautiful wedding held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 between second gen Esther Lee and Shepherd Fredrick Naikal of Washington UBF.  Esther is the youngest daughter of Dr. Daniel Lee and M. Deborah Lee of Shippensburg UBF. Fredrick comes from a Christian family in India and came to Maryland four years ago to study Electrical Engineering. Since then, he has been faithfully co-working as a leader and shepherd in Washington ministry. Both Esther and Fred completed their graduate studies at the University of Maryland in 2008 and are currently working in the DC area.

Pastor Jacob Lee officiated over the ceremony and preached based on Ephesians 2:22.  In his sermon, he thanked God for bringing Fredrick and Esther together to serve God’s good purpose and be a blessing to so many people.  He also thanked Jesus for uniting us as one international family of believers. 

The guests were moved by the ceremony and God’s love clearly displayed in Fredrick and Esther’s lives.  Many guests came to bless the wedding, including Fredrick’s family and relatives from India, as well as UBF co-workers from the Mid-Atlantic region, Canada, New York, Chicago, and Korea.  They also enjoyed delicious Korean and Indian food at the wedding reception.  Thank God for blessing this beautiful and joyful wedding!
