Beginning Jan 29, 2011 Korea UBF held an annual conference of daily bread managers and staff at Korea UBF headquarters in Seoul, Korea. The were 100 attendees, gathered together from all regions from the Korea UBF chapters.

The conference began at 11 a.m. with group by group Bible study titled, "Why should we take daily bread every day?" Through the Bible study we learned about the clear purpose of taking daily bread: (1) in order to hold on to Jesus who is our life goal and purpose; (2) to overcome the evil world and the power of Satan; and (3) to grow in the image of Jesus Christ.

After taking lunch (delicious Korean traditional Tukuk and Chapchae) which was prepared by our women coworkers, there was a special lecture titled, "The history of UBF daily bread and the benefits of daily bread," given by Sh. Moses Noh. Through this we could look back on the history of UBF daily bread and learned how our UBF pioneering ancestors, including the late Dr. Samuel Lee and M. Sarah Barry, longed for the word of God with all their hearts. We also learned that daily bread causes us to make an intimate relationship with God; to change our way of thinking and of each one's sense of value; and it gives the motivation for spiritual growth and faith to win the victory in spiritual battles. Furthermore, we learned that it leads us to grow as independent Bible teachers and messengers enabling us to actively bear campus pioneering work.

After the lecture, Sh. Noah Shin (Hanyang) and Flaime Choi (Baebong) shared their graceful testimonies. Each of them testified in their testimonies that God blessed them with much grace and many blessings when they took daily bread every day, 365 days last year, even in the midst of their busy work schedules from their work place and a research institute. And then Sh.Jae-eun Cho described practical guidelines about the management of daily bread, and there was an awards ceremony for those who took daily bread without missing for 365 days in 2010. There were 13 prizes awarded from 9 chapters, including Sh. Noah Shin (Hanyang).

We pray that God may inspire a great desire for God in the hearts of our UBF brothers and sisters through taking daily bread faithfully, and raising a great spiritual revival in 2011.
