Korea UBF Fall Music Concert 2014
“Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy.” (Psalm107:22)
Korea UBF held its fall music concert for the upcoming Thanksgiving Day on Nov17 at Sowol Art Hall in Seoul, Korea. 103 people played in the concert including 60 orchestra members, three soloists, and 40 chorus members.
Most people who attended the concert were greatly moved giving unstinted praise that it was the best concert they’ve ever seen.
Whenever we prepared the concert we did our best as if we offered it to God as five loaves and two fish. At the beginning we began to practice with only a few faithful members. Not all members could come due to their busy schedules. Even our orchestra members were not professional enough to perform the high standard music programs. That’s why we had to pray to God earnestly and we did our best in the practice as five loaves and two fish.
We praise and thank God for listening to our prayer and for filling our need in the practice and for making the concert to be full of grace and greatly touching the hearts of all the attendees. We praise God who is so pleased when we give thanks and praise to him, and who fills our hearts with great joy from heaven. May God enable us to give thank offerings always, even in the time of great difficulty. Amen.
Our concert major program included the following:
“The Freeshooter Overture” from C. Weber, “The Creation” from J. Haydn, “Symphony No.1,” the 4th Movement from J Brahms, “The Sound of Music,” “Cinema Paradise,” “The Holy City,” etc.
