THE WELL 2014

fathers-heart-logo.jpg

In the gospel of John, Jesus prays for all those who would believe in Him. His prayer before going to the cross is simple. He asks that the love the Father God has for Jesus the Son would be the same fatherly love in each of us who confess Christ as Lord (John 17:26).

Sadly, many live unaware of the Father's heart toward His children. Rather than walking in freedom, joy and the peace that passes understanding, we more readily see ourselves in light of our sins (past or present), our failures, or the wounds we carry. We also more readily see God not as our Father who embraces us and seeks our good, but as one who hands down judgment or inhibits our freedoms.

The apostle John writes in his letter to the church, "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!" (1 John 3:1) Beloved, in Christ, we are sons and daughters. And what Christ purchased for us on the cross is not just forgiveness, but sonship! Through the old rugged cross Jesus reveals the Father's heart that waits patiently by the roadside for the return of His children and receives with favor all those who call on His Name.

For this year's Well, we invite you to come together with us as we pray to come into the revelation of the fatherly heart of God, who calls us His children and invites us into intimacy, freedom and joy in His presence. The Early Bird Rate ends December 14. After December 14 it will cost $120 and then $130 the week after that.

Join us at Faholo Christian Conference Center, 3000 Mt Hope Road, Grass Lake, MI 49240. See map below.
