1.   Read verses 1-4. Where did Paul go from Athens? Who were Aquila and Priscilla? What example did Paul set as a self-supporting missionary? Where, when, what and to whom did he preach?

2.   Read verses 5-6. Who joined him in Corinth? Why did he decide to concentrate on preaching the gospel to the Gentiles? Read verses 7-8. Where did he go? Who were the first believers? What was the result of his preaching?

3.   Why might a conflict develop? Read verses 9-11. How did Jesus help Paul overcome his fear? How long did he stay in Corinth? What did he do? What can we learn from him?

4.   Read verses 12-18. Who attacked Paul and why. What was their accusation? Who was Gallio? How was he used by God to resolve the situation? What was the outcome?

5.   Read verses 18-22. Trace Paul’s journey back to his home base in Syrian Antioch. Who left with him? What two stops did he make before sailing to Palestine? What did he do in Cenchrea? Why? What did he do in Ephesus?  What did he do before returning to Antioch? Why?

6.   Read verse 23. Trace the beginning of his third journey. What was his destination? (19:1) What did he do on the way?

7.   Read verses 24-28. Who was Apollos? How did Priscilla and Aquila help him? What can you learn about their house church from these verses? How did these events prepare for Paul’s ministry in Ephesus?
