THE TRUE LIGHT

Chicago UBF had 4 weeks of Christmas messages, ending on Christmas Sunday. The messages were given by Assistant Pastors: S*teven L*ee (Isa 7-9), D*aniel K*im (Mt 1:1-17), J*im R*arick (Mt 1:18-25), and H*osea L*ee (Mt 2:1-12). For those who wanted to join, we held 2 weeks of prayer dedication from Monday-Friday to get in the Christmas spirit: one at 5:30am and another at 6:30pm. On Sunday, December 18, after worship, we had a church-wide lunch which catered food to about 250 people. On Christmas Sunday, December 25, we had a year's high attendance of 307 people, at our two worship services. A revived UBF Orchestra played with 23 members, and we had 2 beautiful solos, as well music by our Praise team. In addition, our Children's Bible Fellowship (CBF) re-ran their 10-minute skit on "Jesus, the Reason for the Season."
