GLORIFY GOD WITH ONE MIND AND ONE VOICE
Key Verse: 15:5-6
"May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, 6 so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Praise God who visited our 2023 UBF North American Staff Conference, taking place from February 23-25! The conference was attended by 181 servants of God representing 58 US chapters, 11 Canadian chapters, Korea, and even Belize! As we gathered in Chicago after three years of COVID restrictions, we experienced the joy of our heavenly reunion in the Kingdom of God! Starting on Thursday night, God gave a wonderful message in Ephesians 2 through Dr. Tunde A. Afterward, we had guided discussion questions with the people we were sitting around. God used these tools to open our hearts to see that we are already one in Christ. We do not need him to bridge our divisions. Rather, we need his grace so we can see and repent of the sins that cause divisions and conflict.

After Group Bible study on Friday morning, we heard Pastor Ron W.’s message on Romans 15:1-13. Although Pastor Ron had shared a New Year’s message in the same passage, this message was completely fresh. The Holy Spirit applied each illustration and application to our hearts. We realized that when we repent, we give glory to God by revealing his heart and love in us. Friday afternoon, we heard briefly about the work of God throughout North America and began to pray in earnest to act as hosts for the International Summer Bible Conference (August 3-6). We prayed for 1,500 attendees from North America and 500 international delegates. Moreover, we pray that God will reveal His Glory to, in, and through each ISBC attendee!

On the evening of that Friday, Dr. Sarah A. presented the causes and solutions to intergenerational and cross-cultural conflicts, followed by informal discussions in small groups. God worked through our discussions to expose many hidden problems so that they could be addressed. On Saturday morning God blessed us to share sincere reflections on his word and we celebrated Holy Communion together. Finally, we celebrated Pastor Teddy H.'s sacrifice and service as the North American coordinator for the past five years, as he announced that he would be stepping down from the role.
