Santa Cruz 1 UBF held a discipleship conference for one night and two days (Sep 23-24). After a long period of the pandemic, people become more individualistic, and the dedication of the believers weakens. In light of these issues, the conference focused on Revelation chapters 21 and 22. They prayed that the longing for the return of Jesus and the kingdom of God would be deeply rooted among them.

After the Sunday message, they had short testimonies from M. Esteban and M. Paulina C., followed by a commissioning service to send them as missionaries to Peru. In the evening, with 28 disciples and shepherds in attendance, M. Esteban lectured on the topic of 'Leadership Transition' to align with the situation in Bolivia. The content was very insightful.

The next day, in the morning, they divided into two groups to study Revelation chapter 22 and listen to the message. In the afternoon, they wrote reflections and had a time of sharing. The temperature was 39C, and it felt like 42C. Despite the abundance of trees and spacious location, it felt hot even with just the fan, but everyone poured out their hearts to write sincere testimonies. They think their efforts are like small bread but believe God will be pleased with them. They are thankful for the Lord, who is the Alpha and Omega. They believe everything that discourages is under His sovereignty, and Bolivia will become a country that sends out Bible teachers and missionaries.

From this week, M. Esteban and M. Paulina will no longer be directly involved in any formal gatherings besides serving five shepherds and four shepherdesses individually. They think it would be better that they disappear from the scene. They plan to join worship services in Peru UBF online.
