GOD'S FAITHFULNESS AND LOVE
Passage: Psalm 108:1~13
Key verse: 4
Psalm 108[a](A)(B)A song. A psalm of David.
1 My heart, O God, is steadfast;(C)
I will sing(D) and make music with all my soul.
2 Awake, harp and lyre!(E)
I will awaken the dawn.
3 I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples.
4 For great is your love,(F) higher than the heavens;
your faithfulness(G) reaches to the skies.(H)
5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;(I)
let your glory be over all the earth.(J)
6 Save us and help us with your right hand,(K)
that those you love may be delivered.
7 God has spoken(L) from his sanctuary:(M)
“In triumph I will parcel out Shechem(N)
and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.(O)
8 Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine;
Ephraim is my helmet,
Judah(P) is my scepter.
9 Moab(Q) is my washbasin,
on Edom(R) I toss my sandal;
over Philistia(S) I shout in triumph.”
10 Who will bring me to the fortified city?
Who will lead me to Edom?
11 Is it not you, God, you who have rejected us
and no longer go out with our armies?(T)
12 Give us aid against the enemy,
for human help is worthless.(U)
13 With God we will gain the victory,
and he will trample down(V) our enemies.

1. I will awaken the dawn (1-5)
God is faithful, and he wants his people to be faithful, too. We must awaken the dawn with hearts and souls full of praise to God. Let us praise him for his faithfulness and for his gracious work among the nations. Praise God for his work among the people of Korea, Russia, China, the USA, Germany, South America, Africa and all the world. His loving heart is big enough to love all people, for his love reaches to the heavens and his faithfulness to the skies.
2. Victory over his enemies (6-13)
David was an able king, but he did not depend on his ability. He called on God for help. He knew that the help of man is worthless (12). His cry to God for help is based on God's love for his people. God says of the people, 'They are mine' (7-8). Those who are enemies of God's people (9-10) are God's enemies. When God's people seek his help, he gives victory.
Prayer: Lord, save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered (6).
One Word: Great is his faithfulness and love
