PRAISE THE LORD, ALL YOU NATIONS

Passage: Psalm 117:1~2

Key verse: 1

1. Praise the Lord all you nations (1)

This is the shortest chapter in the Bible, but its message is very big. It is a call to all nations to praise God. This message undergirds the task of world evangelism, the task to which God calls his people. God wants all people everywhere to worship and obey him. This is God's desire. It is the prayer topic Jesus taught his disciples: 'Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.'

2. His faithfulness endures forever (2)

God is not only the God of world mission, who extends his concern and care to the people of all nations, he is also the God of history. His faithfulness and love are revealed in the promises which he makes and keeps. He does not change. He loves us forever. Praise the Lord!

Prayer: Lord, I praise you. Hasten the day when all people of all nations worship you and praise your name. Use me in your world redemptive work. I praise you for your faithfulness which endures forever. Help me to be faithful.

One Word: Let all the people praise God
