1. A holy walk of faith (1-6)
The principles of holy living do not change. Love comes first, expressed by hospitality and practical care for those who are suffering. Sexual immorality is always wrong and brings judgment on the family. We don't need to be captured by greed, because God has promised to be our helper and never leave us or forsake us.
2. Jesus does not change (7-8)
It is right for us to remember the leaders who taught us the word of God. We should honor them in word and deed, and imitate their good example. Everything in the visible world changes, but Jesus does not change. In Jesus we can build our lives on a solid foundation.
Prayer: Lord, thank you that your truth does not change. Help me build my life on Jesus, the solid rock.
One Word: Jesus does not change
