ISRAEL WILL LIVE IN SAFETY

Passage: Ezekiel 28:1~26

Key verse: 26

1. A prophecy against Tyre's ruler (1-19)

The king of Tyre was wise to gain wealth, and thought he was a god. He became proud of his wealth and beauty, like the devil. So, God would humble him in disgrace. God opposes the proud.

2. A prophecy against Sidon (20-23)

God would punish Sidon with sword and plague, and they too would know the LORD.

3. Hope and promise for Israel (24-26)

God would inflict punishment on all Israel's neighbors who maligned them: Ammon, Moab, Edom, Philistia, and Tyre (Ch.25-28). But Israel would return from exile and live in safety in their own land, with houses and vineyards. God would be proved holy through them (25).

Prayer: Lord, may I not become proud because of your blessings, but keep a humble and thankful spirit for your amazing grace in Jesus Christ.

One Word: Don't become proud because of God's blessings
