1. Jesus is coming soon! (10-15)
Jesus promises that he is coming soon! He will come with his reward. He will come as Judge. He sees what we have done in this life and we will be judged accordingly. Those who repent and believe the Lord and do good will be rewarded with eternal life and will live in paradise with the Lord and with Jesus. Those who do not repent-those who continue to do wrong and are vile will be condemned. They will be away from God and will be condemned.
2. Amen, come Lord Jesus! (16-21)
Jesus invites us to come to be with him in Paradise. His invitation is a simple, "Come!" To those who respond to his invitation, he will give access to the water of life. We must hold to Jesus' promise. Jesus warns that whoever adds to or takes away from the prophecy will be punished with plagues and a revocation of the invitation to the tree of life. How should we react to his prophesies? We should say, "Come Lord Jesus!"
Prayer: Lord, thank you for Jesus' promise that he will come soon. Help us to wait patiently, but in perfect hope that he is coming soon.
One Word: Amen! Come Lord Jesus!
