PAUL DECLARED THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Passage: Acts 28:23~31

Key verse: 30,31

1. Paul taught the Jewish leaders (23-27)

The Jewish leaders wanted to hear more from Paul, so they came later in even larger numbers. Paul had a deep and intensive scripture study with them that lasted all day, declaring to them the kingdom of God and trying to convince them about Jesus through the Law and Prophets. Some believed and some didn't. But Paul wasn't deterred. He saw this through the eyes of Isaiah that their hearts were calloused to the word of God.

2. The Gentiles will listen! (29-31).

The Jews continued to reject God and His word. Not only were their hearts calloused, their spiritual eyes were blind, and their spiritual ears were deaf. They were dead to God. But Paul didn't stop preaching the word. So Paul declared to them that God had sent the gospel to the Gentiles. And the Gentiles would certainly listen! Paul spent the next two years in his rented home, preaching about the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for sending your Gospel. Help the many to believe your word.

One Word: Teach about the Lord Jesus Christ
