HE HAS RISEN!

Passage: Matthew 28:1~20

Key verse: 6

When the Sabbath was over, the two Marys went to the tomb. As they approached, a violent earthquake struck as an angel rolled back the stone. The guards were afraid. But the angel spoke to the women and said, “Do not be afraid. I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen just as he said.” The women went joyously from the tomb and met Jesus on the way! Jesus gave them the message, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.” Jesus was alive! Jesus is alive. He alone gives joy and hope.

The eleven disciples obeyed and went to Galilee. There they saw Jesus and worshipped him. Then Jesus gave them the Great Commission: to go and make disciples of all the world and teach them the word of God. Then Jesus promised to be with them always, to the very end of the age. And Jesus is with all his people who share his word all over the world.

Prayer: Father, may the Risen Jesus be with each one of us and may disciples be raised all over the world.

One Word: He is risen!
