FELLOWSHIP WITH CHRIST

Passage: 1_John 1:1~10

Key verse: 3

Jesus is Eternal God, and he came to this world in human form to have fellowship with us. John lived with Jesus, heard Jesus, talked with Jesus, and touched Jesus. Through his fellowship with Jesus, John could know and testify to others that Jesus is the Word of Life. His fellowship with Jesus extended to the Father as well. We need to have fellowship with Christ and to also be able to talk with him, hear him, see him, and feel his touch in our lives. Our relationship with Christ is most important.

Through testifying to others so that they may believe and have fellowship with us in Christ, our joy is complete. We really don’t have anything in this world except our relationships in Christ. We need Christian fellowship. These relationships strengthen us in faith and fill us with heavenly joy.

In Christ, there is no darkness at all, but only light. If we walk in the light as he is in the light, we can have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus purifies us. On the other hand, sin blocks our relationship with Christ and others. We need faith to confess our sins, be forgiven, and be restored in our relationships with Christ and others.

Prayer: Father, thank you for Jesus who came to this world to have fellowship with sinners. Help me to have fellowship with Jesus and be filled with joy.

One Word: Have fellowship with Christ
