1. He will teach us his ways (1-3)
Isaiah prophesied that the time will come when the Lord's temple would be established in Jerusalem, and all peoples would stream to it. This temple is ultimately Jesus, who died on the cross and rose again on the third day. Through the gospel, all people of all nations are saved and are drawn to him to worship God. Through faith in Jesus we are able to learn God's ways and walk in his paths. Then, those living by faith will be a kingdom of priests and a holy nation through whom his word will be preached to the ends of the earth. How blessed we are to learn his ways -- undoing our selfish, sinful habits -- and walk in his path of salvation, righteousness, and victory!
2. Let us walk in the light of the Lord (4-5)
When we have gospel faith and a Christlike spirit, then real peace and justice follow. Strife dissipates in homes, communities and nations, and peace ensues. With this hope and vision, let us walk in the light of the Lord from this day forth.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for Jesus who enables us to live according to your words and be instruments of your peace. Please help us to walk in your light every day.
One Word: Come to Jesus and learn his ways
