GOD WILL MEET ALL YOUR NEEDS

Passage: Philippians 4:10~23

Key verse: 19

In closing, Paul was thankful for the church’s concern for him and shared his secret to how he could be joyful in any circumstance. Joy and peace were given to him by God and were present regardless of any situation he was in, whether he lived in prosperity or in poverty, free or in chains. He fed on the overflowing fruit of faith in Christ's sufficient grace and the power of his redeeming and transformative love, and this is what gave him strength. Knowing and experiencing Christ is a luxury that never stops giving.

When we live in scarcity, it is the opposite. Nothing is ever enough, and people keep getting in our way. There will always be unrest, no matter who you are or what you have accomplished. Goals of wealth, popularity, or power can never truly satisfy our need for God's love and acceptance. Even though Paul was always content, he was never complacent. Although he claims he didn't desire any support, he was grateful for the love and care he received from others, and could always give abundantly out of the fullness of God’s love and power in him.

Prayer: Lord, thank you, that despite my weaknesses, failures, disappointments, and sins, you meet me where I am and offer the fullness of your grace and love.

One Word: The grace of Jesus be with your spirit
