PREACH THE GOSPEL TO ALL CREATION

Passage: Mark 16:9~20

Key verse: 16:15

First, Jesus appeared (9-14). First, Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had driven out demons. She told others, but they did not believe. Jesus then appeared to two disciples who were walking in the country. They also reported this to the other disciples, but they did not believe them either. Finally, Jesus appeared to the disciples himself, and rebuked them for the lack of faith. Second, Jesus' world mission command (15-18). Jesus commissioned these unbelieving disciples to preach the gospel to all creation. They were to go and preach the good news of Jesus. And signs would accompany their words. Third, Jesus taken up (19,20). Afterwards, Jesus was taken up and sat at the right hand of the living God. The disciples finally obeyed Jesus. Mark ended his gospel with beautiful words. 'And the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.'

Prayer: Lord, thank you that you help us as we preach the gospel to all creation. Help us to rely on you as we do your work.

One Word: God and preach the gospel to all creation
